Indian Police Force is an upcoming action thriller streaming television series produced by Rohit Shetty for Amazon Prime Video. The high-octane cop drama follows Delhi Police officer Kabir Malik, portrayed by Sidharth Malhotra, as he confronts an ominous terrorist threat.
Kabir leads the elite Special Cell of the Delhi Police that specializes in counter-terrorism. His main adversary is a sinister terrorist mastermind known only by his first name Zarar. Indian Police Force Series Storyline/Plot
Indian Police Force follows DCP Kabir Malik (Sidharth Malhotra), a decorated officer in the Delhi Police tapped to lead a new elite task force focused on combating terrorism and organized crime.
In the first episode, Malik assembles his team which includes hot-headed officer Bittu Sabarwal (Vivek Oberoi), technical expert Neha Mehra (Shilpa Shetty), and rookie cop Bhupendra Pandey (Sikander Kher) as well as veteran officer Iqbal Khan (Nikitan Dheer).
Their first case brings the volatile Bittu face-to-face with an old enemy turned terrorist Rana (Abdullah Farhatullah), who is threatening Delhi with a bombing campaign. While chasing down leads on Rana, the unit uncovers clues linking him to mastermind terrorist leader Zarar, a mysterious extremist planning attacks across India.
Over the season, the unit often clash both with criminals and their own superiors over their unorthodox methods. As Zarar begins unleashing terror strikes in major cities, political pressure mounts on Kabir. But his team’s resolve to do whatever it takes to capture Zarar leads them into dangerous territory testing ethics and loyalty.
Kabir and Rana play a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse as the unit chases scarce clues about Zarar’s supporters and patterns. After thwarting a major attack plot at huge personal cost, Kabir zeroes in on a lead from his past pointing to the true identity and location of Zarar, setting up a confrontation in the finale putting India’s future at stake.
The series promises to be a high-octane thriller tackling terrorism through examining its complex human costs for frontline officers like Malik confronting harsh realities.
