Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire picks up after the devastating battle between Godzilla and Kong that left many of the world’s major cities in ruins. In the aftermath, an uneasy truce exists as the two titans have retreated to their ancestral homes – Godzilla to the depths of the ocean and Kong to the hollow center of the Earth accessible through Skull Island.
